Nursery Information

We have made a presentation to inform new parents about starting school. If you have any more questions, please get in touch with the school.

Our Nursery is an extremely important part of our school. It is where everything begins. We provide a loving and caring environment where all children are valued and listened to. We aim to provide all children with the skills needed to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.

Children in our Nursery mainly learn through play-based activities inside and out. They also take part in short, focussed group or 1:1 activities as appropriate. As we have a mixed Nursery and Reception class, the children have lots of opportunities to play with, and learn from, the older children. They also have the option to join in with longer, guided Reception tasks if they choose to (which happens often!).

We offer provision under both the 15-hour and 30 hour Free Entitlement Funding arrangements – to find out which one you qualify for, and to apply visit: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Children can start school as soon as they turn 3. It is also possible for Nursery pupils to access our breakfast club from 7:30am and our After School Club until 6pm.
