Robotics Workshop - June 19th 2017
We welcomed Fran from the STEM centre to carry out a whole series of robotic exercises using laptops and the small robots. We made them turn and move in a whole series of ways. Have a look at the pictures.

We welcomed the NISCU team in to school to work with the pupils on the mystery of the Easter Tomb.
Year 5 Trip to William Howard School - March 2017
As part of our transition programme for high school all our Year 5 pupils went to William Howard School to see how a typical day went. We had lunch there and also went on the school bus. We went with Mrs Kelly and studied, Maths, Science, Drama and RE. Have a look at our pictures.
PE - Newcastle Falcons' Keith leads our Rugby sessions - Autumn 2016
We have enjoyed six weeks of excellent rugby coaching from Keith. He has also taught us the various ways to stay healthy through eating and exercising correctly. Have alook at the photos taken during our final rugby session.
Science - Nov 3rd 2016 We are Super Scientists!
During our science lesson with Mr Ashton we discussed scientists and what they do. We then looked at five investigations: fingerprints, water on the planet's surface, floating different balls in water, separating soil from water and seeing which paper absorbs most water. We then looked at the lives of famous scientists. Look at the pictures.

Science - Hunting for Animals in the Wildlife Garden - September 2016
We went in to the Wildlife Garden with Mrs Sanderson, Mrs Connolly and Mr Ashton. We were hunting for vertebrates and invertebrates. We found lots of them!
